Any word on this bloke?

His flying under the radar this pre-season compared to usual. Usually people are all over him to know if he is training well or injured. Can't find squat on him at the moment though.

Anyone know how his going? Definitely a lock for me if he has had an uninterrupted pre-season so far.

Brisbane are all over the place at the moment, a bit like Essendon, so it is hard to know how anybody is going. It is a shame as Brisbane are 1 of 3 clubs that have both byes in non league rounds so we should be looking to load up on them.

I'm going for overall, so unloading on them for me is a no thankyou lol.

no news is good news?

im also going for overall so having riewoldt + goddard makes r4 to tight to have drummond in my team :( disappointing.

probably not an upgrade target either because he probably won't be fit for the whole season.

Polkinghorne looks very fit and has been training well with the midfield group

I also have both and possibly Higgins, however I Beleive I can have at least one 3 game bye players in all positions and still be competitive for top 100. There will be plenty of subs to choose from to fill in. You may lose 200 or so points by using them in these rounds but I think you will make up the difference in the other rounds by selecting the right players.

That's good news but very irrelevant lol.

Thing is, overall is over every round, seeing as every player has 2 byes, I don't think it makes much difference when they have them :P

He is a lock for me, he has burnt me the last couple of years and I really should learn but if he stays fit he is a complete bargain.

It won't make me re-think. If he is named Rd 1, I will pick him as he is gold IMO

this may make you think twice.

It is certainly making me re-think

+1 if he's not right by this stage, that is a worry.
might make it easier to go Adcock (even though not as good SC-wise)

Alex7089

Has me worried, although as long as it is not his quad/hamstring and he is named in round 1 I will pick him. For a guy who is worth 550k+ if 100% fit, he is too cheap to pass up at 400k.

Please don't do it ... just .... don't do it.  Every year Drummond's unparalleled potential and low price (due to injuries the previous year) suck me in (I'd learnt prior to last season thank God !!) ... just don't do it to yourself, dude ... and if you do maybe at LEAST buy a stash of sleeping pills and Red bull to get you through what I call the "crying phase" ...  ;)

Nah it does matter because you can trade players in after they've had a bye or two...that means there'll be a player in your team who has had one or two less byes than the standard. The less byes you face, the better
