Is anybody rating freeo players? I was looking at Ballantyne, Silvagni and Mundy as options. Mind you I also like Rockliffe from Brisbane and Collingwoods Heath Shaw. There doesnt seem to be a lot of support for any of these on the draft teams.

Fremantle Dockers
Looking Good:

  • Greg Broughton is training strongly (working a stack on his fitness and endurance) and is in the midfield group, with David Mundy as his training partner. GREAT news for DT/SC!  Rhys Palmer continues to be talked up as the standout at Freo so far this year. After his 2010 was cruelled thanks to a knee reconstruction, 2011 could see him continue on from where he left off in 2009.  Zac Clarke looks likely to play a role in 2011 according to Aaron Sandilands. Clarke has been training really well and impressing the coaches - his fitness and agility has been a highlight. He will have to compete with new recruit Jon Griffin though.  Nat Fyfe is also training in the midfield and has been one of the main go-to men off half-back. Bollenhagen is another to impress in the midfield group, with plenty at the club talking up his chances for 2011.  Jack Anthony is training up forward, despite thoughts he could be the logical replacement for Tarrant. This probably bodes well for the chances of Faulks to slot into fullback.
Who’s Not?

  • Joel Houghton has broken his arm this week at training, putting him out of action for 8 - 12 weeks and will therefore play no part in the early rounds of the season.  Michael Barlow is progressing well from his leg injury, but it still remains unlikely that he will make it back in time for round one. Even if he does, I can’t see him being fit enough to justify his price tag. Pavlich warned Dockers fans this week not to expect too much from Barlow on return - perhaps he should have also warned Dream Teamers too!  Roger Hayden and Anthony Morabito are both injured and will miss most of the season.  Hayden Ballantyne (foot) is also on a restricted program.

no mention of mzungu, prospector??

Jukes

Or Duffield for that matter.

This year I think the eagles have more to offer over here in the west with Shuey, Gaff, Coxy, Darling, Weedon etc

Hmm, how did he get missed?

He just going about his business as per normal.  Was a big talk early on when Freo were concentrating on running as he has a great tank.
