Gardiner is on his last legs, almost retired..... Again.

Also Lyon's lack of desire to blood young players hurts more every year & instead they get stuck with below par players from other clubs like Peake, Schnider, Dawson & Raye and you can now add Dean Polo. I just can't see these players being in a Premiership team.
the only 1 of those that is spuddish is peake, i dont see polo getting a game, not sure why he was even picked up  ???

The Saints seem to forget they dont really have a ruckman anymore. And before anyone mentions Kozi, let's all be clear. St.Kilda will never win a flag with him in their side. It has been written.

As for Carlton, that poor team structure and arguably the worst coach (apologies Vossy) and with the same success in finals as Richmond & Melbourne over the last decade, the only flag they'll be seeing is the one unfurled in round 3.

For me the threats are Hawthorn & Geelong probably in that order.
I went to the St Kilda v Essendon game last year in rnd18 at Etihad and all the Saints supporters could do was bag Kozi, saying he is only in the side to provide a decoy to take a tall away from Voldt. They got quite spiteful toward him and also said what Cruise has said above "St. Kilda will never win a flag with him in their side."

You guys have all just pointed out the biggest issue - St Kilda's bottom 6. They drag them behind and continually giving them games isn't going to help. They need to fight for their spots to improve. Younger players need to be given games for these players to even remotely have any competition.

Oh and another thing about St.Kilda, their club culture goes from bad to worse every day. First various sexual assault charges, nightclub fights, sex scandals, nude photos and ...... Now drugs.

And people wonder why we don't take them seriously.
