Going for the big one, loving the extra strategy required this year.

Obviously the NAB Cup will shake things up a bit, but assuming things go more or less as expected my starting squad should look a lot like this...

I really think a few sideways trades during the early multi-bye rounds might be necessary, at this stage I'm looking at dumping 2 duds for 2 bubble boy cash cows in round 3, then using any spare cash to go Adcock - Harbrow in round 4 and Priddis - Boyd in round 5, which will mean the only round where I have more than three premiums missing is round 6.

Any thoughts?

backs too weak

not sure what role ryder will play could be great but on the other hand could be average 75 odd

rest is ok

i would only rank it 7 out of ten seen a lot better but who knows at this stage

backs are not too weak. Goddard, Gibbs and Deledio should bring around 300 each week. malcheski im a bit worried about would prefer a broughton or duffiled. Adcock is capable of averagaing in the 80s and Otten and jacobs should pull fairly repsectable scores.

Mids dont really like kornes and i dont think priddis is a good idea and your missing out on some really good rookies eg gaff,swallow.

forwards very good except maybee fitting in prestia

in terms of the trades you are planning, they dont look very good. Igf you pick good rookies than you shouldnt be trading to bubble boys. Bubbles can burst like you saw with brown or the more famours case of gysberts.
trading adcock in round 4 is a huge waste as he should go up in value and will take till around round 8 at least to be at peak. also i would rathetr have adcock than harbrow anyway.

Pridiss into boyd is the same thing but worse. were will you get the money for this trade. Pridiss wont go up in value. and you will need to drop 1 or 2 rookies when they still have an additional 50k+ to rise. Anyway you dont upgrade players like pridiss first. If you want to do any good you need to do stuff like wait till round 9 and drop mzungu to a rookie and upgrade foley to boyd.

not keen on Malceski or priddis good to see some unique picks but you dont really have any premo rookies, i dont think you can afford to miss swallow atleast
