Yeah but Mike Sheehan wouldn't be in my top 50 journalist list. >.>

Having seen some absolutely horrendous decisions for his Top 50 list yearly, its terrible. Whitten is a great player, and a true legend of the game but there is others who's achievements are higher.

yes, our player hasn't been picked yet BOOMZ!

MTTY

My pick is Haydn Bunton the only player of the VFL/AFL history to win 3 brownlows and 3 sandover medals

dylsta05

my pick is the great Gordon Conventry
306 games, 1299 goals. 5 time Premiership player, 6 time league goal kicking leader, 16 time Collingwood leading goal kicker.

Held his record for most goals for over 6 decades, the first player to kick 100 goals in a season, the first to reach 300 games, the first to kick 1000 goals and the only player to kick 50 goals or more on 13 occasions in a row and holds the record for the Most goals in a Grand final at 9... Still to this day.

1st time he ever got reported took 280 games, a retaliation that resulted in an 8 game ban. These days, never would have happened. So he would have gotten off and been one of a very few players to go through their career without ever  being suspended
