Thx 4 comments on my team Jukes,

here's mine on urs....

def: duffield is steady but wont get big scores.... watson NO 1st year kpp
.....the rest good

mid: sylvia in midfield????, anthony and shuey will both play....if their bodies hold up....have my doubts, l rate blease highly but think he'll have trouble getting into melbs excellent young midfield

ruck: serious doubts on cox, and with mcD...he wont play so is it worth having a non playing person on bench purely for mpp

for: good...not sure darling will play much though

Maybe choose Heppell or Jacobs as a mid for futher coverage of the MPP rule. Also having Anthony & Foley is to risky in the middle, either choose one or the other IMO. Remember you want to be saving as many trades as as you can.

I've spent 10-15 minutes trying to find what was wrong and the only things I can see are changes to make your side look like mine. This doesn't mean anything is wrong with either of our teams but rather it highlights the little differences that make our teams unique.
Sylvia in the middle for the MPP, I  understand but don't agree with.
The main thing I see is I'd only have 10 players as keepers where the more successful teams of the past have had up to 15 keepers to begin, thus eliminating the golden use of a trade. With only 10 keepers you are essentially starting the season with only 19 trades.
8/10  :)

Really? I see 16 keepers- Goddard, Gibbs, Deledio, Duffield, Swan, Boyd, Sylvia, Anthony, Shuey, Swallow, Cox, Jolly, Franklin, Didak, Riewoldt, Brown.

Those 5 and Cox or Jolly, you will want Sandi at some stage.
Your case is strong for Anthony but we will have to wait and see as it is for this years Daniel Rich, Swallow. The question will be when to upgrade those on the cusp of being classified keeper.
Brown will not be in your side at the end of the year.
Shuey will elevate but not stay, he will do his job and appreciate in value in time for a jet to slide in price.
The battle for Melbourne's midfield has me believe that the scoring will be shared across the second tier group and that Demon semi-premiums like Sylvia will suffer as an account, and will look to be offloaded to another up and comer or stable performer.

I agree that Melbourne will improve alot this year, but disagree the scoring will be shared. If the side improves as it should with greater ball control and greater time in possession, this should equate to a small improve to all the quality players.

n. foley as a emg! no way
+1 shuey out and foley on the field, then find a cheap rookie for the bench

rest of the team looks fairly standard, rumours though that brown may not play at the start of the year and no sandi may hurt a bit

a nice looking team otherwise 8.5/10  ;)

Jukes

I am never dropping Luke Shuey as much as people tell me to.

HarleyL

Its a good team, not alot I can say.

If anything id keep a close eye on foleys pre season. They say hes only just coming good now. maybe someone like Andrew Gaff could be better.

Jonno Brown is good. But really risky.

Other then that looks alright. 7/10

FLOPITOUT1

He will need to cover D.Swallow rnd 1 explains the need for decent mid benchy eg Foley.J.Brown will be a good upgrade target and then a keeper imo

FLOPITOUT1

I like your team thinking about Sylvia midfield cos there are no premium midfielders from melbourne and i like their byes.Z.Smith should be a lock on your ruck bench imo.No Sandi might hurt i like the combo of Fraser/Sandi using Petrie to cover ruck byes and upgrade Fraser later. Also i think Duigan might be a better pick from the blues backline instead of Watson could slot straight in and 26 years old.8/10

Joshy11

Not bad. Pretty solid across the board with a few lil concerns. 7/10

Need sandi
Too much cash on mids bench so ditch foley (wasted there) get a rookie
Darling wont play rd 1 or early on.
Use cash to upgrade him first!
Worried bout matera in the starting line up so maybe use remaining cash to get prestia or petrie and maybe have matera on the bech if you like
Also very solid beches which i like :)
