is he worth a punt? priced at 94 capable of 105 injuries is obviously a big concern or would you spend the other 50 k and just get selwood?

nas

Out of the two Selwood more consistent & injury wise also

Chopps

if you were taking a punt though? payin 390 for someone who is capable of 105?

boschie12

it could pay off!! or maybe not. depends if he is going to be a keeper.its all about risk and rewards.

CuStArDaRm

Selwood, dont be a fool

McRooster

Corey has hit his peak and now begins the slide, picking someone on the up is the smarter choice ie. Selwood.

Joel Corey is 29 years old with an injury that he has been carrying for a long time now.

There was an article last year talking about Joel Coreys injury concerns.

I know McLeod had an injury he carried for most of his career yet played well until finally retiring age 34.

Joel has hit his peak and I dont believe he is worth the risk.

McLeod had 12 knee operations during his career, little ones to remove bits of cartilege and scrap around, more like basic maintenance.
Corey should have been doing the same and that may just see him sliding prematurely.
I had him in 2008 and 2009 but it was a no in 2010 and in 2011.
If you want a unique option around 390k and can score big 100's, with a 2010 average of 95 - look at Travis Boak  ;)

Fletch74

Even if he was injury free, how could you even consider someone who is on the wrong side of 30 at that price. You need to look at players who have upsides like Boak that was mentioned above... ::)

wrong side of 30 at 29? didn't realise it was a degenerative knee injury like McLeod
