After fumbling around on various threads, I decided I was tired of it, and that I wanted to give my opinion; just without the strain of thread hopping.

-- I'm not lazy  ::).

Anyhow, if you post your team here I will give an in depth review with a rate of 100, what you can improve on, and some suggestions, I'm not going to be nice with the ratings either, I will say what I think  8).

Credit for this idea goes out to DTDreamer who did this on the DT board.

Sincerely, Junktimer

EDIT: I will eventually get around to all your teams, so hang tight.

Seeing as no one else has asked I'll get it started:

Brendon Goddard, Brett Deledio, Graham Johncock, Paul Duffield, Shannon Hurn, Josh Drummond, Josh Toy
Nicholas Duigan, Peter Faulks, Michael Hibberd

Dane Swan, Matt Priddis, Matthew Boyd, Andrew Swallow, Nathan Foley, Ben Jacobs
Maverick Weller, Joshua Green, Tendai Mzungu

Darren Jolly, Drew Petrie
Zac Smith, Max Bailey

Nick Riewoldt, Lance Franklin, Matthew Pavlich, Colin Sylvia, Chris Knights, Andrew Krakouer, Isaac Smith
Jack Darling, Andrew Hooper, Cameron Richardson

It's based on going for league rather than overall. 39k left over.

Couple of Q's:

Do u think Priddis is a good pick?
Is the Jolly & Petrie combo strong enough?

First off BOOMZ I like this team because it has some nice unique picks, too many teams too similar, like mine perhaps but I was one of the first to make one...

Goddard and Delids standard.  However Johncock is a great unique pick, SC specialist, kicked at 80% efficiency this year.  Duffman has a suspect kick- which is damning considering the amount of uncontested ball he gets.  He may be a bit of a risky pick, but you could do worse.
Freako says:
QuoteHis form away from home is suspect.  Keep that in mind before committing.
Not entirely sold on Hurn either, scored poor this year, despite his potential.
Freako:
QuoteTaggers will be a problem, but he is a defender that can produce the odd high score.
Duigan nice pick, should get games early.

VERY strong midfield.  Jacobs now a lock with MPP.  I actually think your mids may be too strong, could it be a good option if you were to take a premium out of there for D.Swallow and then upgrade a forward rookie?  Makes it more consistent over your lines.

Rucks unique, I will address them below.

Near perfect forward line.  Sylvia may be on the verge of a breakout but is way more suited to DT however.  2 rookies starting is OK, but I think it may be worthwhile to take the aforementioned advice.

In answer to your questions:

I believe Priddis is a gun.  Very consistent, and a nice, underrated, unique.  Yes from me.
Freako:
QuotePerforms well in both forms of the game.  A safe bet.

The Jolly-Petrie combo is interesting, my thinking is that if both play it will go fine, however is Petrie's troublesome foot is keeping him out, it could be Jolly and Smith in the same rucks.  Not strong enough IMO.

I would go one or the other, and add big Sandi in there.  Petrie a possibility in the forwards too I guess.

BOOMZ, I'll give it an 86.  (Exceptional)

Great advice :D

Agree with u about Duffield I wanted to get Broughton instead but I'm not convinced he'll play a full season and Duffield seems to be more durable. Hurn is dodgy I don't think I'll leave him in there but not sure on any good replacements around that price... Any thoughts?

Agree with you on the mids and I may end up doing that :)

Who would u suggest for Sylvia?

Good to see u agree with Priddis it's hard to believe his average actually went up this year even though he play's for WC...

Cheers for that JT ;)

I've got nothing better to do so if you have the time do mine :P.

DEF: B. Deledio, C. Enright, L. Gilbee, C. Newman, S. Hurn, A. Otten, D. Heppell (B. Jacobs, P. Faulks, J. Toy)
MID: M. Murphy, S. Pendlebury, J. Watson, M. Boyd, D. Swallow, A. Gaff (M. Hibberd, T. Mzungu, L. Parker)
RUC: P. Ryder, D. Petrie (S. Lycett, Z. Smith)
FWD: P. Chapman, N. Riewoldt, A. Didak, M. Pavlich, A. Goodes, D. Prestia, J. Butcher (J. Darling, C. Dixon, A. Hooper)

Haven't touched the team since I made it as I haven't got the time. I would like to compare my team to ML's mock team.

Brendon Goddard, Brett Deledio, Greg Broughton, Chris Newman, Shannon Hurn, Josh Drummond, Ben Jacobs
Jamie Cripps, Michael Hibberd, Peter Faulks

Luke Hodge, Daniel Cross, Scott Pendlebury, David Swallow, Andrew Gaff, Dyson Heppell,
Sam Blease, Joshua Green, Tendai Mzungu

Patrick Ryder, Mark Jamar
Scott Lycett, Zac Smith

Nick Riewoldt, Matthew Pavlich, Brad Green, Cyril Rioli, Chris Knights, Dion Prestia, Andrew Krakouer
Jack Darling, Andrew Hooper, Cameron Richardson

Can anybody spot the double entendre?

excellent...  ;D

And also... people on TS say that Didak may not start strong from the very start and that would be an upgrade target after his byes.. and seeing X Clarke is now a no-no...

Didak to Harvey wich would leave 105k
then Conca to Harris as a unique followed by Clarke to another Cheapie such as Libers, Hallahan, Blease or Andreoli? (check your Prospectuses..) ? ? ?

no worries BOOMZ.

Maybe Bock for Hurn, i rate Bock.  And if he can stay fit will be firing.  Your right, Duffield is durable, was the only docker to play all games in 2010.  It's a curly one for Sylvia, do you have money to get a premium?

More of an opinion. You can rate the first one as it's mine.

The second one is ML's. Don't need a write up for his but want to know how mine stands up to his mock team.

I like that... Bock could be good. If I swap Hurn to Bock then I have enough to get anyone except Harvey, Didak & Chapman for Sylvia...

You can't consider krakattack as a rookie..? He's on the same level as matt maguire.
