This probably isn't the right place to post this.

Im sick of seeing teams that have the same defence midfield and foward line. I think teams need to be more unique and have a bit more risk in them. Otherwise everyones team will turn out the same.

Example
Everyone has very similar defence
Goddard Gibbs Deledio Broughton/duffield  otten adcock jacobs.

Shaggers

The problem is that Godd, Gibbs and deledio are no-brainers.
Otten is a worthwhile punt , Jacobs is an easy pick.
Freo have good defenders, Duff/Brough are the pick of them.
Adcock/Grimes/Drummond are the other roughies.

There is a reason why everyone has them, THEY MAKE A GOOD TEAM!

Is yours any different? If so is it different just for the sake of being different..

boschie12

most teams will boast this backline around the draw.help them out with mmp in the  back/ mid line.like to see what backline u have come up with mike?

Chopps

it will change as ppl see NAB cup performances and think oooh that was a good game whilst others will think it was a crap game.

trades seperate it during the season

if you got something better then

goddard, gibbs, deledio, duffield, adcock, ottens & Jacobs

please please let me know

i would put in enright or broughton but i chose duffield
i would put in gram but i have goddard.
grimes or drummond but i got adcock

your getting the picture being unique at this stage isnt going to do anything

Agreed with above.

I think people overestimate the importance of 'unique' team.

There will be plenty of identical players but extremely rare to find an identical side. There will always be some different, and of course as raised above trades during the season is what it's all about.

Happens every pre season. People give out advice and always tell people to get the same players/rookies which makes every other team look similar (not exactly but 75% similar).

Backs: B. Goddard, H. Scotland, C. Enright, B. Deledio, G. Broughton, A. Otten, D. Heppell

Thats my current backline (far from finished but it's a start).

Don't worry mate. Everything changes once Round 2 comes, plus, it happens every year, it's no suprise  :)

+1

there's a reason standard is the standard at this stage of the game.   ;)

I wanna pick Lake but double surgury in off season rules him out.
I wanna pick Gilbert but time in the forwards means cash drop.
Connors is an option but playing 16 games in 2 years is a risk.
LovettMurray is a good scorer when he plays but its an expensive risk. + GF bye
Cameron Bruce move to Hawthorn makes him an unknown and at his age cant see him increasing his output.
Milburn/Enright and Mackie. Maybe should get more love than they do but 2 are old and on a slow slide + Mackie's inconsistancy pissed off the coach late 2010. + Finals Bye
Sam Fischer and Jason Gram are ok but with 6 stronger St'Kilda players you cant pick them.
All these players averages increased in 2010 but its hard to increase 2 years in a row Waters,  Malceski, Kennelly, Staker, Maguire, Schmit, Grundy, Frawley the list really goes on.

Who are u left with.
