i am at a loss for a fifth back current candidates, grimes adcock or gram

front runner is adcock no reasons except lack of choice, if i am going to risk it between grimes and adcock i ll take adcock,  gram makes it difficult as i have goddard, boyd and volt already in my side

thoughts?

current backline
Brendon Goddard, Bryce Gibbs, Brett Deledio, Paul Duffield, 5th back, Andy Otten, Dyson Heppell
Michael Coad, Josh Toy, Michael Hibberd

All three are somewhat injury-prone but I'd go 1. Griimes 2. Drummond...Grimes is a lock in my team, don't have either of the other two.

j959

Chopps, don't go Gram only cos you've got Godds in your backline and from your other posts I don't think you're inclined to put Godds in your midfield?

Gram would be a worthy speccy pick but the Saint double up if you went with both in your backline would probably cause you more headaches than it'd be worth.

Grimes is worth a punt cos of non-league affecting byes for Melb.

I'm thinking of Adcock over Drummond mainly due to price considerations.

I think Grimes as your 5th back makes your backline pretty strong mate.

Adcock should appreciate quickly in value, Brisbane only play 3 top eight sides from 2010 in the first ten rounds of 2011.
Get on then get off  ;)

grimes will score most

spot on j959 cant have gram as i got goddard and he isnt going in the middle, that multi bye round is killing me issue is am not super keen on grimes or adcock at this stage, but i think i also am trying to be different because everyone has that backline. adcock it is for now use the cash to strengthen somewhere else

Agreed dylsta but the price gap means a premium can't be afforded elsewhere on the park and it is that premium that will score better than or equal to Grimes - but for longer  ;)
