Who do you think is the best lion ever?

After receiving at eight nominations, this is now the time where we vote for who we think is deserving, two votes per person, first to eight wins.

The nominees are:

Haydn Bunton
Alastair Lynch
Kevin Murray
Michael Voss
Jonathon Brown
Jason Akermanis
Bernie Quinlan
Paul Roos
Simon Black

Voss and Brown for me.

Both magnificent on field leaders, 2001-2003 Dynasty won't be repeated for a very long time, Brownlow, All Australians, the list goes on.....

If you were going to war you'd want both of them on your side next to you, Voss for his leadership and Brown for his bravery and strength.

IMO no way in the world Paul Roos should be there. 1 Players MVP but were much better premiership players than him that were far more deserving of being there. My vote goes to Voss, Great Player but the reason he beats the others is the most outstanding courage and leadership.

IMO, there are 2 who stand out by a mile above anyone else. Bunton and Murray. No one else even comes close.

Bunton won 3 brownlows, and 3 Sandovers.... Would have to be in the Top 3 players of all time IMO.

Paul Roos was named in the 1991 and 1992 All-Australian team as CAPTAIN.

Awards:

Fitzroy FC Best And Fairest 1985-86-91-91-94
All-Australian 1985, 1987, 1988, 1991 (captain), 1992 (captain), 1996, 1997
E. J. Whitten Medal 1985 (captain), 1988 (captain)
Australian Football Hall of Fame
Leigh Matthews Trophy 1986
Fitzroy FC captain 1988â€"1990, 1992â€"1994

And named at CHB in Fitzroy's team of the century.

A well deserving nomination.

And Voss can kiss my ass :) I loved him when he was playing, even when he was smashing Collingwood, but ever since he retired I can't stand him! Everytime he talks I want to punch him in the head.
