Never heard of him?
Geelong recruited him in 2009 from would you believe the Melbourne Tigers. Thats right , the NBL.
He'll be 24 in April, he's 198cm and 97kg. Didn't kick a ball last season but will play in the VFL this year.
If he does OK in the intra club games, maybe he'll play in the pre season.
This may be asking a bit much though. He is an experiment, so it will be interesting to watch his progress.

Bunyip we have the slighter higher profile Seamus Mcnamara who comes from the US with a American Football background. Also recruited in 2009 he did breifly play in the VFL last year but we are talking a long long term prospect.

So converting players from other games can work. Wouldn't it be funny if the NRL players selected by The Suns and GWS worked. There'd be a frenzy to recruit NRL players.
