20,001+ League

[Bazinga]

As there is a top 20,000 league based on last years rankings, I thought it might be a good idea in organisaing a league for those who finished outside the top 20,000.

I'd like it to be for those 2nd year SC players like me who really enjoyed the comp but didn't do the research or fully understand how to maximise overall scoring potential, or for those players who didn't commit last year but are looking to have a great year in 2011.

What are peoples thoughts on creating this type of league ?

I should get 20k under this year.
Offtopic, but what about in the leadup to the season we get people to rate last years startong team we had?
Mine would get 0/10 :(

Lol bb , mine would get 0/10 also  :( . I remember last year I picked my team based on the round 1 teams and the possible high scorers in that round. Not a good strategy I later found out  :P , but rookies are allowed to make mistakes.

If this gets enough interest I might start a list.

I did it for 2 years prior (not seriously) in my first ever year i picked dean brogan on the bench. I took it seriously this year but i still failed :(

stop saying that u suk so much to get ppl to feel sorry for u!!
Most people do bad on their first seasons and just get better!
I went from averaging 1750 in my first to 1950 in my second!

We must have finished side-by-side bb. My average was 2123.5 and I finished 30,501 overall. I was happy with that, but I ran out of trades with 4 weeks left.

Plan carefully for this season as trades are gold & just because you have a few more don't waste them.ol

Yes naste that was one of my biggest mistakes last year. Wasting trades on sideways trades and on rookies who only had limited games. Will be much better prepared this year ;)

Shame that we can only enter 3 leagues, there are plenty to choose from, but I dont want to be stuck in a league where some teams are scoring 1100. This should be a good league to be in  8)

im hoping that no-one on here will be scoring 1100  ::) it should be a good league, most of us should easily avg well over 2000 (even though i only avgd 1960 last year  :-[  :P)

The league I was in last year had about 8 teams which scored between 1100 - 1500 and it was no fun. I'm sure most teams from FF members will be very competitive  :)

I've played for about 4 years, but only past 2 were mildly serious :P. Still using the unique strategy ;). 7k in '09 but 30-something k last season.

I would join also but you need people with less experience?
