There is no competition, maybe if Plugger had continued his career at the Saints, but Harvey was a dead set champion, leader and all round good bloke.

He was a great Saint no doubt...1st 300 game player the club had, captain and of course kicked the winning point in the '66 grand final but no way is the greatest ever Saint...might squeeze into a top 10 list.

that was my point :P and i think your right with not nominating current players, its really hard to rate players who havent finished their careers yet
