Nominations for the best ever Roo

This is following on with Junky`s Adelaide version. You can nominate any North Melbourne player who has played but you must have a short and sharp reasoning behind your nomination.
The first 8 to be nominated will go through to the voting stage.

Nominations so far:

ossie85

Michael Martyn

I refuse to state the obvious this time!

Achievements: Premiership player 1996, 1999
287 Matches for the Roos (another 13 for Carlton, bringing him up to an even 300).

I loved Micky.

Fair assessment RB?

roo boys!

Yeah nice nomination Oss :)

I think I will nominate the heroic Arch:

Glenn Archer

Shinboner of The Century, need any more? Saved us soooo many times down back, his courage has to be admired and he basically brought that true Shinboner Spirit and toughness to show.

Blighty for THAT goal and for the legendary status he has and the multitude of awards he's won as player and coach.

Special mention to Martin Pike - selfish reasons  ;)
Seriously though he did end up playing in 4 Premierships, dependable class and tough.
