Option1 for sure for me. Lock and forget. Petrie's great value as 5th-6th forward, but not so great value as a 2nd ruck IMO

imo there are some pretty good value forwards around so i cant get him in

bomberboy0618

yeah but i dont see why u cant have more than one value forward.

I see ur point in both options but remember,

If you have petrie Fwd and a F/R on the Ruck bench you can utilise the MPP but of course you can do it the other way to by having Petrie in Ruck and a F/R on your Fwd bench.
Thus being able to get another prem Fwd instead of a Ruck who dosnt have the scoring potential of say a Chappy.

For me it all depends if my F/R sub gets games.

If i find I have the money Ill definately do 2 prem Rucks but in the end Ill pick a prem Fwd Mid Or Back over a Prem Ruck so it all depends on the $'s and the NAB

SydneyRox

Option 1 it is then!! :)

i finished top 1000 in SC & DT last year and I didnt pick a prem Ruck til later in the season.
Prem Rucks score lowest out of all prems so why stress about them just make sure they play and get your guys who have more opportunity to score huge in your team.

what combination though is going to score better & make more money
sandi
cox
Petrie
Forward bench rookie
4th ruck mpp

or
Cox
Petrie
didak (or someone at 420k )
Forward bench  MPP f/r
4th ruck

still premium combo for me, as i am not wanting to waste a bench spot for a mpp ruck who most likely wont play instead of a potential cash cow

Yeah so who did u have?

nice use of strategy on both sides... turned out a good read ;)

I (IMO) recon 2 Premiums then say Smith as 3rd & Use MacDonald as 4th & bonus (MPP). Some people have Daw but not for me as him & Petrie both same team. Each to their own. Reckon that Mac could get some game time before Daw.

Forward you have a choice of a couple in Petrie & Tipps. Couple others but anyway. One Prem goes down for a bye swap wit whoever you have chosen also taking into account that Zac should be playing for GC & reversed after that week. Further down the track if req'd you can trade up if you so desire or in case of last season injuries re some good ruckman going down.  IMO

agree with naste Mc over daw by a longshot... NM play 3 talls already and he isnt in the mix

Yeah so who did u have?
Started wtih seaby and Jolly, Ended up with Sandi and Jolly.
I consider prems high 90's 100+ and jolly isnt quite there although he could easily this year as well as Kruezer i reckon.

dont understand why people are so keen on having mpp in the rucks. to be honest you shouldnt need it. if you have say cox and someone like fraser along with say petrie and smith on the bench. you have 3 players who have traditionally been very durable and are all walkup starters and one who is almost guranteed to get games. unless tippet showed serious form in the nab... mpp in the rucks is a bit overrated

bomberboy0618

Having petrie on the bench is a waste of money when he can be on the field in fwds with mpp
