cant make mind up on stevie j or boomer for skipworth.I know boomer is at an ideal price but ive got a feeling stevie is going to rip it up this year.
any ideas please..........cheers

I don't have an exact opinion, but I'm equally curious about this choice. Both Boomer and Steve have juicy prices to upgrade from skippy.

But Harvey has dropped significantly, which either means hes gonna stay down here - or he's had some bad rounds, and will bounce back. If the later is true, then boomer is a go!

I dont have any idea about Steve. If its his year, then he's at a good price to jump on.

Personally, I'm spending an extra $10k or so and getting nick rewoldt

Stevie J should prove more consistent in an awesome team seeking vengence on last year.
You are only interested in Boomer because he dropped in price and played one good game.

Bo

I'd be all over boomer. Riewoldt is fine too, but boomer has richmond this week and will be out of your price range shortly. Riewoldt has Port at AAMI, which is notoriously hard for half forwards to score at, so he'll be thereabouts next week and prob go up alot the following week.

StevieJ is inconsistant. He sometimes gets lazy and thinks he's better than he is, which can be reflected by some of his poor sc scores last year. So far this year he has looked the goods, but i'd rather have one of the best players in the competition last year, then an idiot who has had a few good games this year.

I'm looking to the long-term - and I have no experience with Boomer. Sure, Boomer will probably have a tasty game against Richmond - but what about the rest of the season? Dominator?

harza

cheers hawks it really is that simple when you look at it that way..stevie it is.He looks like hes in good form so ill run with that

evawes1

Yeah, but just because the team is out for vengeance doesnt suddenly mean he will be more consistent. Geelong dominated for the past 2 years, and SJ has been inconsistent.

North have some pretty easy games coming up in terms of Boomer being tagged. I just dislike SJ intensely. HE's an insect. The way he took a dive a couple of weeks ago from a Maxwell bump wsa pathetic. If there is a feud between him and NG Brown -  they should have pistols at dawn and shoot themselves - muppets

Bo

w0rd. Maybe they can have a lovechild and call it chad fletcher.

Not taking boomer here seems like an error.

i'm in the same boat, although not even considering SJ (chump tool)
looking at boomer vs revolt the cry baby who still has nightmares about the scotts & mal michael
*sobs to self*

over the last 3 years NR's averaged almost 10 points more per game than boomer fyi.

tony73

MMM interesting 10 pts more a year and boomer $30,000 cheaper, volt more injury prone,

I am going to go boomer as I think he will touch the ball more and the two points above

evawes1

Is volt really THAT injury prone? He still plays pretty solidly.

tony73

I spose not injury prone but mare likely an injury threat compared to boomer,

I'm just trying to convince myself! Tell me otherwise before I hit the trade button

harza/tony if stkilda keep playing the way they are (thats a big if)then volt would be the one to get but im not sold on where boomer is playing if he is stuck as a forward and not running through the midfield he wont get the numbers and is getting on in years i got sj from the start as he plays for a team that plays good football can get his own ball and kicks goals but can be inconsistant (but all players can be).

NR (crybaby who gets touched up by lions) did well last night for the muffins
so far so good vs boomer....
