Knock-Out Cup SC Style

With the news of Alex's idea to merge all leagues into Divisions, i think we could also add to that a Knockout cup.

Based on numbers we could play a Knockout cup every few weeks based on SC scores where a random draw is generated and the better SC score of the 2 teams for that round will advance. Thoughts

16 teams = 4 weeks to eliminate, 24 rounds in a season, so you could have 6 4-week comps.

so if we get 96 teams it will run in all rounds thanks for the calculations ossie ;)

For a Knock-Out comp to run in all 24 rounds you'd need 16,777,216 teams :)

But I know what you mean ;)

You could have any amount of teams and run it like DT eliminator.

Each week the highest scoring team would verse the lowest scoring team and eventually all the best teams are left in.
