following the news that james kelly will be a midfielder ONLY i have looked down the list of backmen and i have discovered JASON GRAM? what do we think he averaged over 90 two years ago??

cheers for lookin'  ;)

elephants

just to add...

he is going to be 27 this year
from 2006-2009 he only missed three games
played 14 games last year due to injury?
has averaged mid 70's until his breakout in 09 where he averaged 91
pegged back to 84 last year but thats bstill up there.
any other options? hargrave?

James Frawley?

has missed three games in the last two years for averages of 55 and 73. i see him bumping that up again and he looks to be very cheap too? 314k. i reckon he is worth a look?

Do you not have Goddard in your back line already?

Are you going to put Gram in the midfield ? I wouldn't

Goddard + Gram in the backline - no thanks.

314k for a 'reckon/feeling'
No. imo.

Frawley will be worth a look and should bring him average up to 80ppg. Gram however will be consistent but should rack up disposals if he is not assigned a tagging role. It will be important to watch Gram in Pre-Season to see what role he is given.

elephants

okay thanks guys.

i will watch them both in the pre season ;)

Chopps

Gram was a starting choice for me but I got Goddard back there and he ain't going in my mids

You better hope they both impress very lots.

Gram at the price = keeper, but not averaging huge keeper numbers.

Frawley at 314K really needs to be a keeper, even lifting PPG to 85 he's not going to make much cash and that's if he raises to PPG. Will you keep him round 24 at 85PPG?

I think he'll probably struggle to exceed 80 PPG, but yes, watch over pre-season.
