No, pinch hitter as in playing the ruck while our ruckmen were on the bench or resting up forward.

He may be kick wise, but he's not the best player in the AFL.
idk how goddard would go in the ruck, he doesnt need to be used and im not afraid to break out youtube videos :P
Do it. I dare you. ;)
i will, but while i get all the links, give me a reason y he isnt the best player in the comp (and if u say because _________ is better i want an explanation y :P)

and hawka goddard played a prelim with a broken nose (i think it was a prelim :P) so u cant say hodge is tougher ( i know hodges injuries were worse but goddard would have played with those injuries ;))

Hawka

Here you go:
Leigh Matthews Most Valuable Player Trophy: The qualities this player should illustrate are: ability to play under pressure, great skill leadership and courage, versatility, have respect for players and add a considerable amount of value to their team.

This year’s winner and top five highest scoring players for this award were:

Winner: Dane Swan (972 votes)
2nd: Luke Hodge (603 votes)
3rd: Gary Ablett (562 votes)
4th: Aaron Sandilands (279 votes)
5th: Joel Selwood (166 votes)

the players when they are playing dont think about junk possession etc. and this doesnt include the grand finals (over the 2 goddard was easily the best player)

Hawka

not a lot there that goddard doesnt do, and as that video is from 3 years ago its irrelevent in our debate :P

and goddard was the best player over both, him and hayes were head and shoulders above every1 else in the first 1, and he was close to best in the 2nd 1 too
