OK Q, here is a tough one.
Since 8AM I have been refreshing SC and every time I do it comes up with this message
Problem loading page
Server not found
Firefox can't find the server at supercoach.heraldsun.com.au.

so far, to try and fix it I have...
Rebooted my laptop.
Changed my IP address to make sure I wasn't IP blocked.
Cleared my history and cache.
Disabled all add-ons.
Re downloaded Firefox.
Turned my modem off then on.

DT is working fine and actually running pretty quickly as is everything else, at first I thought it was their server but it has been gone all day and I still can't get on.
Going to go and try on my sisters laptop.

it was happening to me before also, but there is no reason why it wont work on your laptop but will on your sisters ???

Both DT and SC sites are lagging for me ::). Hopefully it only gets better from here.

DT was working fine for me like I said.
I think it is time for the herald sun to update their server this is crap >:(

I have been looking forward to this all summer and now I can only access DT >:(

I think what's happening is a DNS issue (as has been previously suggested). Why don't you try this before doing anything drastic:

Open System Preferences, Network. Click on the "Advanced" tab at the bottom of the dialog. Now click on the DNS tab.

You should be showing at least one address - and it may be grayed out. That would be your router. Under the box where it says "DNS Servers" add these addresses: (press the small + to add) 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222 (These two addresses are for OpenDNS - a free server)

OK your way out of the dialog and Network preferences. Reboot your router by turning it off and on again. Also reboot your machine.

Try the Hi-Lifter forums again to see what happens. If that doesn't resolve the problem, then I suspect it's on their end and not much else you can do.

In case you're wondering about why the PC is OK, it's because Windows handles DNS much more efficiently than OS X.

Nevermind Q. After 2 solid hours of googling I finally found that. It works now :) PWNIFIED!
