For my next pick I am going to pick a spinner. He is:


Johnny Wardle

Wardle was one of the greatest spin bowlers the game has seen. His test bowling average of 20.39 is the best average of a spinner for the past 70 years. He was a left arm finger spinner, but was able to change up and bowl wrist spin as well, which would get the best of most batsmen. In first class cricket his bowling average was just 18.97
He was also quite handy with the bat, which is represented by his test batting average of 19.78.
