Whilst a lot of people will target a seam bowler first, I am going to go for the most successful Leg Spinner in the history of the game, taking over 3,776 FC wickets in 592 matches... Half as many matches as the only persont o ever have taken anymore.

He holds the first 2 and last 2 of the top 6 records for most wickets taking in a single season and 10 times has taken over 250 wickets in a season. What a beast. He is the only man to take 300 wickets in an English season
