does any body know how they came up with this years players prices?going on last year it was roughly $4000 for every 1 point score,
50 points equal 200,000
75 points equal 300,000
100 points equal 400,000
i done a quick result on a couple of players
d.swaw at his new price$525,800 divide by he avg works out to to be $4271.67 compared with
b.goddard at his new price $484,600 divide by avg works out to be $4272.23.  thought there $ value would have been the same for 2011

i believe they work it out on a magic number, which would likely be 4272, as thats halfway between the 2 numbers u got

The Fanplanner uses 4272 as the magic number, which is just m0nty's guess for now. We don't know the magic number yet, it could be anywhere from about 4000 up to about 4350. You multiply the player's average by the magic number then round to the nearest $100 to get their price (the rounding is why there is a very small difference in player value).

DT have already said the magic number will lowered this season so we can fit the players into the salary cap.

Last year they were actually higher so those who made teams via the fanplanner were very happy when they could upgrade a player or two ;).
