That movie ends happily ::)

BERNIE FTW!

Justin Bieber

If you name it, you get attached to it :(.

It does look sad but it is still standing still. Took it out for a little and it started hopping. Not walking, but hopping ;D. Even when I tried to get it from outside it hopped twice before coming.

I would love to take it to a Vet to get it checked out but too dear :'(. Hard not to go when my birds are sick sometimes :'(. The Vet closest to me charges more for the appointment than it does to buy a bird ::).

While I was writing this, he/she is making noise :D. A good sign. Helped by my other bird making noise who only started chirping a week or two ago (recent pet I bought :D.

Alex7089

Birds don't walk, they hop, or the little ones do :P

I named my laptop, but I'm not attached, my life doesn't revolve around it *twitches*
BERNIE!
Ah OK, then all you can do is keep an eye on it and call the RSPCA in the morning.

Justin Bieber

My Budgies walk ;). And guess what? They probably walk more than they fly in a day :P.

Haha. That's what you call an addiction ;).

I'll keep with Bernie for now then ;).

Alex7089

Of course I'm addicted 0_o

Really? Well, OK then. My budgies never walked, one flew into a fan though  D:
The other flew into the mirror repeatedly until it cracked. D:

Justin Bieber

You have Budgies?

Mine use to always fly into the window and mirror before. But now they actually know where they are going ::). 1 is tamed, 2 are half-tamed, 2 aren't tamed. But only 1 pecks (The very very old one who is also not tamed).

Alex7089

I used to, like I said one flew into a fan (I wasn't even there, I was away) the other was old and died.

Both were tamed. My favourite was my cockatiel who was very friendly, he was AWESOME :D

I'm pretty sure HP it's a Little Wattlebird,  which is the largest of the three wattlebirds, and indeed the largest of Australia's honeyeaters. It has large yellow wattles hanging from the cheeks.
The Little Wattlebird is a medium to large honeyeater, but is the smallest of the wattlebirds. It is mostly dark grey-brown above, with faint white shafts on each of the feathers. The underparts are grey and are heavily streaked . The streaks are finer around the throat, becoming more blotched on the sides of the belly. In flight, there is a large rufous patch in the wings. The eye is blue-grey. Birds of Western Australia have a red eye and a silver patch on the side of the throat; these are sometimes regarded as a different species. The sexes are similar. Young Little Wattlebirds resemble the adults, but are duller, have less streaking and a have a browner eye.
Little Wattlebirds are found throughout south-eastern and south-western Australia and Tasmania.
Little Wattlebirds prefer the drier and often scrubby, habitats, such as banksia heaths, forests, woodlands and urban parks and gardens.

The House Sparrow as previously suggested has a whitish underbelly and no yellow wattle.

I don'thave a chick picture but here is an adult....

Justin Bieber

Dad said it looked young. It does have little white feather-like things stuck at the end of it's wings so probably right McRooster. Thanks for that :D.

Does have a yellow-ish underbelly but not completely covered there in yellow.

I don't keep my birds open if nobody is here. One of them loves flying onto my fan but it's always off :P. My parents won't let me buy a cockatiel :'(. Not with the much smaller budgies around :P.

My oldest one is going on maybe 11/12 years since I bought it as an adult :o. It did kill my first bird so lives in a cage alone but has a much younger (and hyper budgie) going to be with her most of the day (but not night as that's when she killed the other one :'().

Alex7089

Well my sister and mum were home.

Justin Bieber

And a fan was on with the birds loose? :o. Feel for you Alex :(.

Master Q

How about you call the bird Q? Awesome Name  8) Maybe Qernie, a mixture of both.

What are gonna do at night? Leave it outside? What do your other birds think of Qernie?
