lol roost, judging by the fact that you drove a par 4 i think you definitely need a stiff shaft :P

-8 for me today in a dismal par round ::)

That par 4 is 265m and green is elevated, definitely had some angry heat on that poor little TaylorMade Burner ball.

Was perfect weather over here (ground still a bit mushy here and there) bad luck for you pyro, that was my score a couple of weeks back. I'm seeing some positives in my game atm but it is frustrating not stringing the good bits together on any given day.

Looking forward to our Holden Scramble on the 21st August  8)

it gets ridiculously frustrating when you cant string together >:( thats a fair whack too ;) the wheather was great here but the ground was mushy as all hell, was annoying to bomb a drive only for it to finish 1 inch from its pitch mark :o

The Tiger and Steve scenario is just ridiculous, they cant even agree how Steve was fired atm...

Steve says he copped a breakup phone call ("we need a break") and Tiger says it was face to face ::)

now im no expert but Steve hasnt lied to us once... Tiger on the other hand... well :-\

Tiger has completely lost the plot IMO, i think Jack's record will be just a bit beyond him now

I'd be upset too if I hadn't coitus for as long as The Tiger has had to abstain  ;)

Maybe Eldrick just needs to grip down on his shaft a bit more  ::)

BAHAHA Roost

on a side note my form slump continues, played in the foster plate (no it wasn't a beer sponsored event :P) and had 29 points ::)

During my last stroke round I let frustration get the better of me and embarrasingly swung my 7 iron at my bag, subsequently damaging severely my Bridgestone - MASSIVE dent. Couldn't look down at the driver after that and round folded, DNF  :-[

R11 is on order. Pro has said my driver is worthless now, irrepairable  :'(

anger gets the better of us all Roost :-X although while we are talking about dinted drivers, I dropped my bag on my dads cars towbar a couple of months ago and dinted mine ::) i still use it though, don't have the money to buy a new one :-X

also have a broken 4 iron, due to unknown circumstances :o

on a more positive note, i have discovered a new weapon, an old 1 iron that was sitting in our shed >:D

8-6 Suited

A 1 Iron... I haven't seen one of those since my first hand me downs when I was 12.

I am now starting to play more golf, having got my clubs out again. I stopped after getting this set as it ruined my drive and I just kept slicing. But 5 trips to the driving range in the past 2 weeks has almost completely eradicated it. Now to just improve my game to when it use to be with my old set and it will be going good again.

Playing 9 at Skye on Tuesday then 18 at Centenary Park on the weekend for 18. Hopefully it goes well.

I play... havent in over a year though. disappointing.

used to play off 14. joined aces again this yr (builders/architects golf day run by fielders) and can't wait to play koo and glenelg later in the year. even bought new golf clubs... beautiful titleists and they just sit there :(

You up for a game Michael? You'd prob kick my arse.
Not so sure about that Wes  :-\

I played last Saturday and had a promising front 9 with 17 points and no scrubs - finished with 24 points, nuff said  >:(

Any time you want Wes, PM me and we can hook up - I'm a member at Highercombe or maybe you'd prefer if I arranged a game with me an the ol' man who is a member at Tea Tree Gully.

*sorry I hadn't checked this thread for a while  :-[

The problem is Michael I don't own a car but would be happy to play at some stage.

pyro, that is why I stopped. I couldn't get the slice to stop and when it didn't slice.... Which itself was rare, it would hook haha.

But overcome it finally. :D

good job ;) hitting it straight is the most important, yet hardest thing is golf ::)
