what are your thoughts on Chris Tarrant?
he will be priced roughly around $190,000 and has avg 88 DT points in 2003 when he was playing at collingwood.

Could be a good cheap unique!

it will all depend on where he fits into their current lineup there team is A LOT different to 2003 and also tarrant is 7 or 8 years older :)

browny_wce

that was also as a 5-goal-a-game forward
dont know if theyll use him there again with Dawes and Cloke proving a formiddable forward line combo
Tarrant was obviously drafted in replacement of Presti, so given that and the fact his Freo full back position didnt give much DT cred I dont think it would be wise to get Tarrant at this stage
much better options out there

Junktimer

probably not now, plays a stopping role with not a lot of upside.

Agree he was drafted to replace Presti but with the departure of Anthony, Tarrant may just pinch hit up forward when Dawes and Cloke can't get into the game or are out of form.
Presti would never have been given that role and Tarrant may be used in this way to further intensify the 'Collingwood forward clamp' style they employed this year with his running pressure from defence and strength. He will be very keen to impress, rejuvinated in the way that Trent Croad was when he returned from the west.

If you read his post he says those are a few options (not necessarily good options)
