Hamish McIntosh

2010 Stats
Games: 20
Total Score: 1631 (Ranked 116th overall, 8th amongst ruckmen)
Average Score: 81.55 (Ranked 139th overall, 8th amongst ruckmen)
High: 115 (Round 19)
Low: 28 (Round 7)
Standard Deviation: 19.49
Centuries: 4 out of 20
Starting Price: $486,500
High Price: $486,500 (round 1)
Low Price: $361,500 (round 11)

Summary:

Although McIntosh saw a drop of about 10 points per game from his 2009 average, the thing I'm struck about when looking at McIntosh's statistics is his remarkable consistency. An average of 81.55 is actually relatively good for a ruckmen in an era when only Sandi is Premium, but a standard deviation of 19.49 is superb. You know what you're getting with Hamish. Take away his injury-induced score of 28 in round 7, and his average increases 84.37 and standard deviation goes down to the insane level of 15.27.

Goldstein has eased some of the pressure off McIntosh, and could perhaps be the reason for his drop in scores.

The Crystal Ball:

Based on last year's magic number
Price: $433,100

Based on m0nty's fanplanner
Price: $412,400

Position: RUC

The Kangaroos are an improving output, and I'd expect another consistent year, even with the continual improvement of Goldstein. Will the sub-rule harm him? I'm not so sure. Will Petrie's (hopeful) return also cause havoc?

Decision:

My 2nd ruck spot is still wide open, and for this reason alone he is shortlisted. A bye in the first week of the finals is a bit tricky, but H-Mac should be covered for.

Barlow 21

Shortlisted but Sandi and Jolly will be my rucks with Petrie up forward.

roo boys!

Very consistent, I love the guy, but my rucks are Sandi and Petrie (a lot cheaper) so he misses out :(

Fletch74

50/50 for me, will see how his pre-season form lines up. Don't know if I want to have 2 rucks from the one club in my team although Petrie will be in my fwd line.

If the club is North Melbourne then you can't go wrong ;) ;D

Hawka

with the sub rule do u rely see petrie, goldstein and hmac in the same team

roo boys!

Yes. Petrie will play majorly in the forward line, and Goldstein and Hmac will rotate through the main two rucks, and Petrie will sometimes play a quarter or so in the ruck.

nas

No not for me allthough the 2nd ruck pick is giving me a slight headache ATM.

Yep our talls were set, and there wasn't a spot for David Fail.
