Summary:

2008 Premiership Player Robert Campbell's career was finished, oh so it seemed. Having struggled since the 2008 Grand Final, 28 year old Campbell retired with bad a knee injury, and did not play a match in 2010. However, Melbourne gave him a life-line. Despite the Demons boasting All-Australian ruck-men Mark Jamar, and rising talent in Fitzpatrick, Gawn and Spencer, decide to boast their ruck-stocks. He is now on the Demons rookie list.

Robert Campbell's back!

The Crystal Ball:

Based on m0nty's fanplanner

Price: $198,700

Position: RUC

I really can't see Campbell getting a regular go at the Demons, unless Jamar gets himself injured. Will play a lot in the VFL. His price is also very high as currently listed on the fanplanner.

Decision:

No. That price is way too high for limited return.

MajorLazer

Maybe. I love the guy and he might sneak into my team.

hawk_88

Absolute champ.

I think the dees picked him up for a reason. He can play forward and back well so he would make a great second ruck with the new sub rule. Maybe a tad expensive for a 3rd ruck and not bankable enough for 2nd.

Probably not but I have a feeling that he will make some money this year.

MajorLazer

Hoping he would be a bit cheaper than what he is. Makes him unlikely for me.

Junktimer

way too expensive, would only pick him up as a rookie priced player.

No from me

He is the same price as Petrie.

good point, i know who id prefer
Me too. Obviously Petrie. Did Campbell get a discount then?

Hawka

u serious  thats way to much probaly not

roo boys!

If he is the same price as Petrie then he doesn't get in my team.

I believe Melbourne picked him up to be a permanent CHB where he played great footy for Hawthorn when Croad first went down or be a long bomb forward target because they are abit short in that area imo.

Jamar I would imaging takes #1 ruck and he has a big engine so with the sub rule they might just want Robbie to pinch hit when Jamar has a breather.

I think he will get a lot of game time and definitely keeping an eye on his NAB games.  He is a 50/50 for me at the minute.

Yeah he is quite a versatile player, but like you said, Jamar should take the #1 job...
