super sloid team JT just wondering how many upgrades u think u need?

Barlow 21

I`d go Knights personally Junky.

Junktimer

thanks marcz will play it by ear, will probably be 5-9 to upgrades, just gotta wait and see.

thanks barlow

Solid side mate, but i reckon your to forward heavy, id try and spread the cash around and get maybe hodge or kelly in your backline

I agree with most of the feedback, I think starting 3 rookies in the back (and I count Otten as a rookie) is way too risky. Especially with 3 rookies in the centre line, meaning you're starting 6 rookies out of 22.

Having said that is a very solid, and unique, team and I always applaud that

Junktimer

thanks ossie, tend to disagree with otten's "rookie status"

this is 4th year in the system this year

True, but if Robert Campbell, Robert Eddy and Mitch Hahn can look the AFL in the eyes and call themselves rookies.... (lol)

Yeah, I know it's different, but Otten hasn't proven himself yet in my eyes :) And of course that's all that counts :P

Junky great team mate. think the backs are just a tad weak.
if you can upgrade adcock to hurn or waite maybe...
9.5 outta ten.  :) not much 2say  :) i have loved all your teams.

Piggers

Nice solid line up Junktimer

Backs a tad on the weak side but you are happy with that so your call just think there may be one too many coming back from injury...

Solid 9/10

Junktimer

thanks piggers and maca

yeah my backline is a tad risky but thats what SC is all about i guess

Good looking team JT! Figured that you've put in the hard yards and given me (and everyone else) some terrific info on the site so I've given your team my most comprehensive analysis. Here are my thoughts:

Backs: kudos for the economical backline structure - your original team was the one that convinced me to spend big elsewhere because there are just so many good cheap options in the backs. Adcock is a great buy at that price. Otten is not a rookie, he's a must have that will give everyone 22 games at a very good clip. Though Jacobs is highly rated, i would be more inclined to go with any one of the 87k rookies you suggested in JT's take - the mature bodies of puopolo or duigan come to mind - They should give similar results for 50k less. If you want less risk, i'd go Broughton -> Deledio simply for durability as you're counting on 4 backmen who could be considered injury prone or returning from LTI. Clearly your weakest line, but as i said, money is better spent elsewhere and the rest of your team will easily make up for it.

Mids: Gun, Gun, Gun, then rookies seems to be a popular strategy. Andrew Swallow has recently made his way into my fanplanner and gee he looks good in there. I've heard good things about Claye Beams in preseason and he or J. Green should be solid picks. McNeil will be handy here but as a crows man i've watched Callinan play, and he is pure silk. Will almost certainly get games and from all accounts, so will McNeil, so either should be safe bets for MPP. Side note: I also recently did a sneaky rookie upgrade that the spare 29k you've got allows you to do as well.....Gaff -> Shuey. Food for thought

Rucks: Yes everyone wants set and forget rucks, but picking the right 2 from the start is bloody hard. Jolly is a massive risk in my opinion. Petrie has been consistently better than him for years and if he can stay fit and average 85-95 then i can't see him being upgraded. Barring any untoward circumstances, I will be having Sandi/Petrie as my set and forget... and pocketing the 170k.

Forwards: Simply elite line. Only concern would be picking didak from the start as he is recovering from shoulder surgery. I know how you stand on goodes but read my section on his player profile and see what you think. At the end of the day, both will be good picks. Oh and dilemma solved if you get petrie in the ruck, as knights takes the 7th forward spot.

Haven't given anyone a 10 yet, but this would be close. End of rate

hey guys, made a few trades. tell me what you think.

DEF: Goddard >>>> Gibbs
Broughton >>>> Deledio

MID: Boyd >>>> Goddard
A. Swallow >>>> Pavlich
J.Green >>>> Atley

FWD: Pavlich >>>> Green

Overall Broughton, Boyd, A.Swallow and J.Green for Gibbs, Deledio, Green and Atley.

Now i also have much more MPP to move with.  tell me what you think please.

Boomz

I agree with all of them except the Swallow/Green/Pavlich one and would really just leave that how it was but thats just me.

Junktimer

ok, would you have swallow or boyd?
