yeah ok anyways, i think we defs need a list (major ones, not the ones advertised 5 minutes before lockout) so people dont get mixed up.

Which brings us back to the start of the thread. Leagues need to be better organised here. I like this site, but I have two friends leagues and my spare league will be a BF league next year because leagues here are too random.

noooooo not the dark side  :P well we somehow rescued the thread from infinite off-topicness, i think though we should have different divisions, which could be determined by previous average score/ranking and possibly have a promotion/relegation system like the EPL, or just base divisions by averages every year

Agreed, no one knows the difference between the coaches league or the superstars league or the premier league or FF division 1 league or the top 20000 league or the people with peanut allergy league. Some kind of structure needs to be determined and administered by a senior poster around here, or its leagues............ceebs. IMHO

My policy on FF leagues is not to interfere or organise, as I don't want it becoming like BF or elsewhere, where there is this messianic zeal to have TEH BESTEST LEEG EVAR. If you guys want to start your own leagues and use FF's name because it's based on these forums, more power to you. But I would hate to have it controlled so that there's one league that's better than others.

Leagues should be about friendly rivalry between people who join because they know (or want to know) the other league members through some external social connection. I don't like the way that the league concept has been subverted to become just another pissing contest.

I'll leave this thread open for a while so you can react to the above statements, but after that I think I'll close it.

Maybe for all those who make leagues and put them up here could add FF at the end of the league name just to give credit to m0nty's site ;).

I did it last year in the 2 I made for DT (I think). And if any of them succeed, Kudos :D.

Indeed m0nty. I've always thought Leagues should be fun, so I've tried choosing leagues with friends and posters I know. I don't really care about league rankings, cos lets face it, even if you're in the best league in the comp, its not like you're gonna tell your grandkids about it :)
