Basically I have about $500k of my salary, and I'm keeping it to gradually upgrade some players over the season - when needed.

One I've been eye-ing is Gibbs to Judd. Keeping it within Carlton. I'm not going to be trigger happy, and Gibbs is a star - but is he enough to get anywhere near Judd like scores consistently?

Is he still too much of a tagger?

If I am willing to put $50-100k into it - and if I have it spare - is this a reasonable change at some point this season (perhaps within the first half)?
Will Judd keep it going?

thats great - so if Gibbs stays at 85-90 avg, and Judd goes on to 120 - and Brownlow potential - thats a bad trade?

Go on bairdy, justify your hit and run reply a bit please...

Gibbs for Judd is a no-brainer at face value

Provided there's no other bigger problems in your team

I think you need Ablett + Judd in your team to keep track on leaders

Yeah I agree with you. It wasn't something I was asking about if I had an actual problem with my team. But it seems like something I could do if I have cash and trades to spare at some point - it provides me a little boost in scores, at a time when value doesnt mean as much and has reached a sort of equilibrium.

When this will be - I dunno.
