Jeremy Laidler

Summary:

Laidler's a True Blue

Starved of oppurtunites at Geelong, Jeremy Laidler took up an offer from Carlton in order to get more game time. Played 1 match in 2010 for a SC score 82, and is a highly rated young defender.

The Crystal Ball:

Based on m0nty's fanplanner

Price: $331,700

Position: DEF

Is bound to play more games at Carlton, who at times have struggled with defensive structure. His price is very, very high for a guy who has only played 2 matches in 2 years, and I suspect he will be much cheaper than what the fanplanner currently has him at.

Decision:

At that price a clear no. At under $200k he may get a look at, but he is an unproven quantity.

MajorLazer

No chance at that price. Hasn't shown anything to be priced that high.

pyronerd

may consider him if his price is low enough will have to be under $200k to even get be thought of though

Yeh at that price Id say unlikely, good thing about him is you know he'll get games and as with most young players Ill see how they go in the pre-season.
If hes averageing over 100 than you'd have to think about it

MajorLazer

You would but I don't see him getting over 70 consistently.

Hawka

no way even if he was under 200k i woudnt

Junktimer

reckon he will be good, but at 331k no very unlikely

What do you think about him priced at $279,300 and scored 156 in his first NAB cup game? I am seriously considering him for that price.

Don't use first round NAB cup SC scores as any sort of basis for your team. It's a horribly small sample. Just take notice of how he plays for the rest of the NAB challenge series and look at his scores after that. Looked good admittedly but it's dangerous to get excited about 1 score from a match like that.

Well obviously...the score has just put him on my radar now.
