Summary: Daniel Connors enjoyed a breakout season in 2010, although it was filled with controversy. He missed 8 games from rounds 3-11 for being involved in a drunken altercation with among others, Ben Cousins in a Sydney hotel after the Tigers round 3 game against the Swans. He then fixed his alcohol issues, and was one of coburgs best in the VFL during his exile from the AFL. He came back with a bang(in SC terms) scoring 4 centuries out of 5 from rounds 14-19, finally showing why the Tigers have shown faith in him over the past 4 seasons.

Price: 454,600
According to last years magic number

Price: 393,600
According to m0ntys fanplanner

Position: MID (unlikely DEF/MID)

Verdict: 50/50 for me. Is at an awkward price range and probably hasn't shown enough to become a premium yet, but with a solid pre- season and possibly MPP status he is in with a chance.
Will you pick Connors in 2011?

Barlow 21

Very Unlikely due to his non premium status and alchohol problems. :P

He does have the potential to be a star... hadn't given him much thought before now... 50/50 for me maybe

Don't think I will be able to slot him in either. Won't have many in that price range and he never entered any of my fanplanner teams.

Torress

there are better tiger options. for one i'd pick mitch morton over this guy but i won't be picking morton anyway!

yeah same here im generally not confident with players at that price range

Flemo

Besides that lengthy suspension I was happy with what Connors gave me. Mind you he came into my team at a cheap price.

This year I'm unsure as I believe he will continue to deliver but there may be better options out there.

ronl

Nathan Foley is a much more appetising morsel for mine.

Fletch74

Whilst he has some good potential, that price is too high for my liking... Unlikely.

roo boys!

One of the few players I have given a No Way to, he just doesn't fit in with my plans at all

I'm thinking the same way. Gave him a 50/50.

But prefer Foley for alot cheaper and has more upside for price.

Maca24

if deledio isnt a backman and connors is, then i would strongly consider him.
otherwise dlids seems the better option.

yeah would be a risk to have 2 players from the same team on one line with the byes, and dids is clearly a better option
