The Questions That Always Come Up: How Do I Change My Vote?

Always see this question in every thread with a poll in it. You see, there are 2 different types of thread, a normal thread, and a poll thread. In a Poll Thread, it has multiple options like Changing Vote, and choosing more than more option. Then there is a Thread. A Thread is one of these, many make a thread then add a poll to it. When you add a poll to a thread it doesn't have many options.

To make a Poll Thread, click the "new poll" button next to the "new thread button".

So, if you want to change your vote, it must be in a Poll Thread. If it is a Poll Thread, there is a button that says "Remove Vote".

I don't think you answered the question Q :)

You can only change your vote in a poll if the person who created that poll clicked on the option that lets you change your vote :)

If it is one of those polls, simply click "remove vote" and vote again

I've made plenty of threads that start with the poll. Never had the option say where I can include the option after voting.

Nah, it's for the 2011 edition of Personality Of The Year. Lets people use their votes and change them during the year if they have a change of heart.

Still can't figure it out and fiddled around with a new topic poll -__-.

I don't get an option saying that :'(. Except for a return to topic next to a square button, no other option has wordings for me.

Pretty sure you don't need to tick any boxes.

I never tick any other boxes and I never get that option in my poll after voting.

Yep, you do :)

Look at the SC Player profiles. The polls created by me you can remove your vote because I ticked the box. For the polls created by other people you can't remove your vote, because they didn't tick the box.

Its different for you guys, cos you guys insist on using that horrible default lay out :) The one I'm using - and the only one using it - is much simpler!
