Q ratings aren't always an accurate reflection, for example a keeper might have reas bowling which inflates his rating, but doesn't help.

I bought this guy just after I started for 5k,....

http://fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=376537

rates up to 27,405 now (was 17k before I bought him) and has sat in the # 3 position without fail. His scoring is fantastic and finished #3 for run rate in my SOD league.
Massive hopes for him.
Right player in the right position, correctly set and you can get a lesser ranked player to perform like a seasoned jet.

Master Q

Generally players are higher than they should be. Not lower. So I'm not sure what you're talking about.

My understanding of your reply to Barlow was that you didn't think highly of his players for not rating over the 40k mark.
My point and I believe BB's was that rating isn't the be all and end all (agree it's a massive indicator) and that gems can be found in the lower ranks, they may just need polishing and setting.
Agree generally players play higher than they should.

Take a look at De Smeth of mine. He's old reliable yet isn't as good as others are rating wise ;).

Can't judge them Barlow unless they can be seen ;).

Looks pretty good, might want another bowling pop which will be hard but being a wristy and able to bat a bit is always good ;)

Secondaries are not appealing for his age but with that tech gap he could do pretty well in the middle order for a while. Nice talent, fair price in my opinion.

Not great for his age fielding will take a season or two to get that up to a decent standard and then the tech gap, there are certainly better players out there, but for now, he will do and didn't cost you a lot.

Please tell me you just gt him as a gag for the fielding 0_o
Surely reas/reli is not good enough... :-\

Although, the fielding is very handy should you ever need him :)

Pal could bat at No. 11 and not bowl. Just field. ;)
