is he moving to mid in SC as well?

We all hope he goes f/m but I think it is unlikely. That being said he will be a high scoring forward option who will play a lot of time in the midfield.

cyril is a good player, he needs to play all season on the wing

His hard tackling, ground level skills and ability to move quickly through congestion make him perfect on ball material. He doesn't have the long penetrating kick on the run to play on the wing anyway.

delishus was terribly inconsistent in DT last year yet he upped his avg by 10pts... did he get that groin sorted in the offseason? groins r the achillies heel of a players production

hawk_88

His groin was a case of OP. Now I am no doctor, however from what I understand with current treatments they actually strengthen the pubic bone which means a re-occurrence is unlikely where as previously re-occurrence wasn't uncommon.

The majority if his inconsistency came from the first half of the season where he was still managing the OP. From what I understand there isn't any thing else to be done regarding his groin in the off season.

If you look at his second half of 2010, he averaged 100 DT and 115 SC. That is up ~25 in DT and ~40 in SC from 2009 and that was with short periods in the midfield.

love it hawk builds my confidence in the lil fella... rekn he knocked up a 120 DT early against the Cats last season even tho he was visibly dealing with restricted movement from the OP

hawk_88

I think his early massive game was his second game back, which would have been against the Dogs as he missed the first round. However I also think that game took it out of him a bit it slowed him down for a few weeks after that.

I am too lazy to look up and confirm these details though...

locked in my team atm

I have to say, he was at about 85% for me (100% if he gets mpp) however after doing those stats I have convinced myself fully. I would now say he is a lock!

Hawka

according to the prospectus he is only a fwd

BoredSaint

yeah only a fwd on propectus

hawk_88

The prospectus is by Champion Data right? So there is still a slight chance of mpp given that it is VS who runs both DT and SC.

Like I said earlier I don't think it is likely but sure as hell want it to happen so I am not going to give up hope....

Hawka

champion data run all the stats fot them and the possie i think

hawk_88

My understanding is that mpp positions are decided based on game balancing.

If not though, if people have a copy of the prospectus then they have a complete list of mpp which would be REALLY nice.

Hawka

ppl have said it on dt and sc boards today..u just gota look ;)

cookie311993

cyril is a gun player and he will play well no matter what position he gets put in
