i agree with BOOMZ hammies are a worry, they have gone unoticed over the last couple of seasons due to them happening so late in the season.....

Hawka

yep they mite b with him forever  :-\  :(

With the loss off Hooper and Peterson I think Cyril will still primarily play forward with stints in the mid field.
There are defnitely some concerns over the durability of his hamstrings which may keep him out of a permanent mid field role, at least for the next 1-2 years.

Those that I talk with who know such things say the goal this year is to have him play at least 50% of game time on the ball.

I guess they know more about the state of his hammys than we do.... hope they are right!

bomberboy0618

will he increase his fantasy output this year though?

hawk_88

That's what everyone's trying to work out about every player  :P

He averaged 17 touches and 1.5 goals a game and he averaged 95 is SC. Pretty amazing SC figures for that output.

One would assume greater output if greater time is spent in the midfield so one would assume greater SC scores. However that assumes his form stays static. It could go up and his scores explode. It could go down and his scores stay the same or down a little (accounting for midfield time) or could plummet. He could also be injured or suspended for a long period of time. He could be hit by a bus. Who knows?

I hope that last few things don't happen obviously... Ultimately you have to work out what you think is most likely to happen and run with it.

From memory he is about 6'2 so tall for an average person, average for a footy player. Very quick. Dark hair. Not sure if they train in their numbers but he took 16.

I am sure there will be a photo or two on the Hawks website.

I could ask Alistair Clarkson. Rioli should average 20-23 disposals if in the middle for 50% of the game and should still chip in with 1-2 goals. Great potential to score BIG in SC.
