If Al Quedea take over Qatar, Think they can bribe Fifa again to keep the World Cup held there? :P.

The time difference was a big issue. Not happy with that. We got up/ stayed up at that same time to watch the matches. Can't they stick it out as well? Although, they have more people who have to do it ;D.
They own football and are the reason the way the game is atm and Australia as a football nation is very young nation. I think Money spoke volumes and agree with McRooster with the religous divide, fifa like to come across as the world game like with africa. they do thing to makes themelves look good.

Boomz

Hopefully it backfires like the commonwealth games did in india...

Master Q

Still find it how they don't give it to the "World's Most Powerful Nation" (USA) or "The Sporting Capital Of The World" (Australia, and Melbourne I guess)

I would of loved to have been there when it happened. It's quite a big nation in the Commonwealth and it can't always be in Australia so not a horrible choice when you think about it. As long as it isn't in Summer......

If Fifa are trying to help the minor nations, could be a good move as after the cup, the stadiums are shipped off to 3rd world countries.

The thing is, no one lives in Qatar  :P There's probably more Camels than Humans there  :P Don't tell me you think it was the right decision? Do you work for a Oil Company which is based there?

LOL thats is actually pretty funny you Q well done funniest thing by far you have said on here, no i definetly dont agree with the decision i just dont think Australia's bid was the best considering people have only jumped on the football bandwagon in this county in the last 8 years not much contribution to football ...we will host in good time.

i hope this backfires in FIFAs face, there will be almost no spectators from other countries due to the heat and the absurdly stupid laws regarding alcohol and other things. really i can not believe that this country was chosen to host the world cup
+1 and like BOOMZ said too, check out those crowd attendances at the Comm Games  ::)

It is not about the bums on seats however it is about TV audience, like Rob said we were not going to get it based on ratings potential.

LOL Q  ;D  Camels > Humans GOLD!!!!

We didn't have the best bid, but I think the US and Aus deserved it way more than QaCamel.
