Was it because it was easy or because he couldn't get a gig in Melb like he wanted? Can't help but think if Port had ditched him when they should of, he'd be coaching a big Melb team (possibly Essendon) and Port would have a bit more cash in their pockets.

He was going to coach Essendon (I would of hoped) but then Hird decided to go back into the running ::).

I think a fresh start is what he needed. GWS has recruited 2 good football personalities in him and Sheeds and they should drum up some interest in Western Sydney.

Sheeds was never going to be there long term. We all knew he is just there to get it off and firing.


Wouldn't be suprised if Choco took over but they might go with a younger Coach. They seem all the fashion these days :P.

Hird straight of is a mistake. We are an inexperienced team lead by an inexperienced coach. Hoping for a miracle next season :P.

Would of preferred Choco for a season or two then Hird. But oh well......
