thanks for the help hello and valk. the captains have to be smart with their money bazinga. bidding $100 for one player leaves you with 100 for three teams. Captains levels also are used in the money. if i am captain $50 is used for me to be captain so i have $150 for players. $25 for R&B, Hello, Valk, 8-6suited as captain and $10 for everyone else. This is to make it more fair for everyone

Ok that makes sense. That would make it interesting if we got 16 teams

max bid for a player is $75. That way everyone can still get a player. Highest bid gets the player. someone bids 75 they automatically win the player. Captains will have to be strategic to make sure they get good players and a good team otherwise their franchise will be shower house.

Just a suggestion:

Min $5 starting bet on a player - then can only go up in increments of $5 up to a maximum (I think $75 is more than enough).

This will stop someone going from $5 to max of $75 in 1 bid.  That way all 4 captains get a chance to bid on every player.

I dont think it should matter.  Select a start time for all bidding to start and then the captains can start making bids on any players they want.  If you use my previous suggestion then all captains will have a chance at bidding on every player

yeah good idea valk. thats in now. bazinga nobody chooses at all. it is al via bidding for players anyone can go first and any captain can bid when they want on who they want provided they have sufficient funds for the player

I reckon do the teams open in turns. If we get 16 teams entered, 3 rounds of 4 teams.

You can bid on how many teams you want in that round but have to still get the amount of teams required overall.

However as far as this idea goes, it is more of a fantasy league then than an actually match play league if you have to bid on players from other teams. Why

no your bidding on teams from FanFooty. Players are used as reference to Fan Footy teams. say i am captain and i buy you, bazinga, daz and fletch. then you are all players for my franchise. It is just like PCC but it is a FanFooty one

I'm also in the PCC but might not see alot of action if you get some big guns ;).

I think use the word Team instead of the word Players to not get people confused. That how it all started with me :P.

HP, we have to play 7 teams I believe a week and you will likely be one of those 7 every week. Don't think otherwise. :P
