okay then thats good i hope every team is starting to understand how the comp will run. thats right hello. for example if your not captain. captains will realise your a stronger team and may bid up to or over $100 to get you on their team, while weaker teams may only attract $20

Alex7089

OK I'm not sure about this format so I'll just go for the Premier League and WC. Good luck to everyone though :)

cookie311993

arent you going to enter alex? What are you unsure about?

In that case Alex dont go for the role of Captain and you dont have to do anything except play the matches :)

Bazinga

Way too confusing... :x
Just pick Alastair Cook as (c) and you'll be fine  :P  ;D

cookie311993

yeah alex only the teams who are completely aware of what is required of them should go for captains. whoever is captain i will send a message of what is required of them for that role. still play 8-6 Suited. ask questions on what your confused about. i havent really done much explanation just how it will run

I can explain it I suppose.

Do you know how the IPL had player auctions. They were given a certain amount of money and had to put in bids for players. Highest bidder gets that player. This is the same however teams are bid on.

So there will be 4 teams which start off with 4 captains. Each captain will then have the option to buy their teammates and they can spend their money however they like. However, a max bid of $100 should be put to get the minimum 2 other teams required ;).

So if you nominate for Captaincy, you are given control on where the teams go.

Hello - if there are 12 teams with 4 captains and each captain gets $200 to bid with - the average amount for the remaining 8 teams would equal $100. So if you had a max bid of $100 then every team would go for $100.does that make sense?

valkorum

That is where the captains have to be smart and use their $200 wisely.

I see..... I was just saying there should be a poitn where there is a max bid (e.g $100 or $150). Cookie can decide. Cause it can't possibly happen if one team gets the full $200 bid would it ;). A max price should be made so that there is still enough to get another team.

Exactly Valk. Wonder who'd go for captaincy. Cookie and ........

Yeah exactly. There does need to be some kind of max bid. But how do we decide which captain gets first choice of team?

cookie311993

thanks for the help hello and valk. the captains have to be smart with their money bazinga. bidding $100 for one player leaves you with 100 for three teams. Captains levels also are used in the money. if i am captain $50 is used for me to be captain so i have $150 for players. $25 for R&B, Hello, Valk, 8-6suited as captain and $10 for everyone else. This is to make it more fair for everyone
