No, Freo only have 2 (Pav, Sandi). Barlow's been over-hyped, 1 season does not a great player make. Similar is Mundy. They can both be great, just not yet!

Collingwood only have Swan, Pendlebury, Didak as true great players - with Ball, Jolly, Thomas, O'Brien and Maxwell close - and Sidebottom, N Brown and Reid with great potential

Barlows comeback could be not as prolific as when he first stepped onto the big time (hope not) so agree with ossie's comment

Meant it to read > I said he might not comeback as good as he was (hope not meaning that he does and better) is what I meant, allthough reading it now does look a tad different & on the wrong way.

Just thought I'd post this link in this thread - projected Rd1 team for Freo by Sunday Times (News Ltd/Herald Sun affiliate paper) sports-writer ...

I put this link up in another thread about def rookies talking about Mzungu in particular and likelihood of getting a debut in Rd1.

A speculation article written on Xmas day - must have been a slow day

I have just re-read the article and I don't think that it means that Mzungu is not likely to get an early debut.

QuoteWhile Anthony, Griffin, Faulks and Mzungu are likely to offer an injection of new blood early in the piece, first-round debuts are unlikely for the trio of young Victorians taken by the Dockers in the national draft.

Read it as 2 sentences and it makes more sense to me.

Mzungu isn't from Vic, he was drafted from WA and was acquired during trade week, not the national draft.

You are very well right there Valk. You really need to know your stats to realize they are not discussing Mzungu in the second sentence.
