like the look of the younger HB ie taylor hunt
yeah Hunt is looking pretty impressive hopefully he gets a regular game this year

BoredSaint

if geelong are prepared to rebuild like sydney then he'll get a game.. gotta give it to paul roos.. he can blood young players yet still make it to finals..
the transition was just brilliant.

Taylor does show promise. Mackie lost his place in the side late last season. so there may be an opportunity.

It will be an interesting year for Mackie. It was a huge and public humiliation for him at the key point of last year. I'm tipping a new coach will either make or break him.

BigBang2011

Mackie is fine bomber is losing it.

they struggled in defense. lost their captain in HArley so he would have been defensive leader. Good to see how tehy go this season and future.

Not that I want to contradict you cookie, but I don't think our defense was such a problem last season if you look at the ladder. Geelong's problem I believe was an inability to kick winning scores against quality back lines like Collingwood and St.kilda. Most forward thrusts start from the back line however, so we may have to look at our personell backward of the center.

fair enough mate. good point you make
