yeah but he didnt look like making runs, was too defensive and unwilling to play shoots, expecially against swann

He didn't look Great though either Hawka. Looked pretty average. Made a couple nice shots off poor balls but as a National player you would expect poor balls to get punished.

Please, settle down, this is a test match, they are opening batsman who are trying to stick around THAT is why they are taking forever. Everybody is attacking the Australian top order for going out to quickly so they're trying to fix that.

yes but going at 2 runs an over puts u way behind the 8 ball, expecially since england have been scoring well over 3 an over for the whole series

Exactly, if anything the fact that England scores faster helps us. It means they are making their totals faster so we can take a bit more time if we need to. Don't panic, first session in a test match...
