That guy looks mysteriously like Warne :P

BratPack

He was misquoted. He was saying the Australian Team needed more beer cause they'd already drunk the changerooms dry

nice valky  8)

He played for South Perth in the comp here in WA.  Their deck was called "the road" cos it was hard and flat, so with Brad steaming in bowling 140+ it wasnt fun for me.

Alex7089

Hard and flat sounds like a batsmans pitch to me :P

BratPack

I was a number 11 too. :P Always had someone to walk back with then.

I was always a bowler though. I took 7/1 once

Alex7089

In Under 11's my best friend took 10/0. That is right. He bowled them out for nothing 8)
Except they lost 2 runs for every wicket they lost instead of going out so didn't really mater :P

Yeh a road is a batsmans pitch because of the even/consistent bounce.  But when you cant bat it just means the balls comes on quick and normally means stumps flying everywhere.

To be fair. I was more the "Doug Walters" of the team :P We had two tearaway fast bowlers who pounded them in and usually had them jumping around and such. Then after about 15 overs of that the captain threw the ball to me and I bowled about 50k an hour less. The batsmen were so relieved they normally spooned one straight up in the air.

B-B-Bloody Beauty. One for None  ;D
