Master Q

Maybe put that in Formation, because you listed it as a 4-3-3 not a 4-6-1. Wing counts as a Midfielder.

3 Strikers mean that you have a LS, RS, and Centre Striker. 3 Strikers means that the LS and RS play level with the Middle Striker, a Winger means that he plays a bit lower and wider.

I never said 3 strikers. I said 3 forwards. 1 is a striker the other 2 are wingers.

Master Q

No such thing as Forwards in Football, thought you'd know that, you seem like you know a lot about Football.

Andrew3737

I think you should take that one back, because you made yourself look a bit silly.

I would def say he is. I was meaning in the fantasy side, but even in real life, I say he is top 10 for sure.

My teams would be this.

IRL
GK: Cech
Def: Bosingwa, Vidic, Ferdinand, Cole
Mid: Essien, Fletcher, Fabregas
Fwd:Nani, Rooney, Bale

Fantasy
GK: Cech
Def: Vidic, Cole, Terry
Mid: Fabregas, vdV, Nani, Bale, Lampard
Fwd: Rooney, Drogba

Would be interested to see others
IRL, Surely Drogba would be a sure thing for the side. Same with Lamps. Maybe Gerrard and Torres although not as high up as the first two. Bale is still a fair way to succeed those guys in football terms. I would not have him in my top 10.

Fantasy wise doesn't matter where they play anyway :P. Just the formation needs to suit. Surely Gerrard would go in place instead of Bale. He's a proven scorer over years.

Andrew3737

Both on form, Rooney>Drogba. He brings a lot more to the team then Drogba. I'd rather have the combo of Essien and Fletcher using their superior athletic ability and work rate and Fabregas pulling the strings, with some burst forwards. Bale just has the ability to smash full backs. Not many in the English game have that, esp British players.

Umm... Heard of Strikers  ;) The only time you use Forward is when you say CF...

Anyway, Bale doesn't make the team.

And Andrew, Torres > Rooney > Drogba

8-6 Suited

Master Q

Andrew3737

Torres as a striker, yes. But in a 4-3-3/4-5-1 I'd rather have Rooney leading the lines anyday. Much much more complete player and forward.

IRL or Fantasy for Gerrard?

Justin Bieber

I meant Gerrard for Fantasy wise ;).

But IRL, Lamps has really got to make the team. Would be shocking if he missed. If he's in form, can't really stop his kicking and long range goals. Easily ahead of Bale.
