That's what you guys said after you won the Premiership :P.

Boomz

lol exactly I've heard that before... He should get a couple of games.

Barlow 21

hawk_88

He has to get through:

Burgoyne
Hodge
Lewis
Mitchell
Sewell

We probably have too many inside and not enough pace. If one of those drop off we would probably throw in an outsider. If two drop off maybe but still not guaranteed.

The two players that are chances for this season are probably Smith and Puopolo.

Boomz

Can definitely see Smith & Puopolo getting a fair amount of games...

Hawka

same boomz expect lots of gametime from those 2 smith is replcing hooper/peterson and kyle cheney and puoplol will replace brownys spot

Boomz

Yep they wouldn't have recruited 2 mature age guys if they didn't have plans to use them...

Cicjose

under that logic we should be picking every mature aged rookie for our DT's

History tends to favour mature bodied rookies in fantasy.

Not everyone will be a prolific score obviously so you don't pick everyone, Stratton being a good example. Played 21 games (from memory) and wasn't a massive fantasy scorer but had a massive impact on many games.

can you guys see lamb getting a game? he should i think as rioli is moving into mids.

Hawka

Yeah we passed him over of Smith. Was clearly a tough choice as they took extra time for their selection.

At the Swans. I think he should get a game but between Jetta, Dennis-Lane, McGlynn, Rohan, Moore and now Lamb, he will likely struggle as will a number of these players. 3 spots up forward for them max so some will have to move to the midfield and some move to defence.

MajorLazer

I think it wasn't a bad pick taking Smith. We really needed the speed. Lamb would've been ok, but our speed was a bigger hole.

hawk_88

Agreed. I think our lack of speed is (or hopefully was) our biggest weakness, greater than our lack of a key backman or shrunken small forward stocks.

Smith is a mature body so I can see him getting into the 22 very quickly.
