Yep 8). I like most of our mids now :P. I loved Milner, Young, Ireland and Downing all at their previous teams and were stoked when we signed them all at different times (but all were with us at some stage). Signing Pires brings experience and some much needed depth in this time when Injuries are mounting.

Seriously, Did you see our bench and some of our players on field? The were all pretty darn young and given time against MAN U.

Our youngs guys did well against Man U and it shows we have a good future.

He won't get first team action but will be on the bench most games. We need depth as shown by our recent list of injuries.

Young and Downing are shoe in's for a spot in the mids. The rest are fought over ;). Pires could feature despite age as he is still quite good 8).

Alex out for 6-8 weeks, Terry out for unknown time, Lampard out, Essien suspended for the next 2 league matches.
If I was another team I would love to be playing them now!

WOuldnt mind seeing Man City or Tottenham win the league, especially Arsenal, but most of all LIVERPOOL :D

Will depend how the new owners go about things, but signs aren't looking good for a liverpool comeback any time soon

United don't play them till the 19th. Terry should still be out since he said he will probably be out for a few months, but the others will probably be back
