Got to the pub a bit late, just enough to catch tail end of Shields v Herman but luckily ...

Cerrone v Guillard worth the 'price' of admission alone!!!  ;)
What a cracker - definitely worth checking out the replay!

Henderson v Edgar - tight again but Frankie had no answers (sorry) for Benson.
Split decision could've gone either way but again, Henderson looked like he hadn't been touched whereas Frankie's always looking beat up.  :o

I think contraversial only if they scored it by rounds (as I understand the judges are supposed to do) cos I thought Frankie had 3 rounds to 2 but control, significant strikes and damage-wise Henderson wins.

i dunno, judging is always gonna be subjective and someone is always gonna be disappointed in a close one ...

I saw that card, looks like another big card for Fox which is good, as free for us :D.

And pretty sure it's Sept 2 for us J as the date is usually a day ahead for the US. Not a great card compared to some of these Fox cards I have got to say! Still, will be interesting to see how Jones goes.

And if people haven't heard (probably have), Sonnen moving up to Light Heavyweight and facing Griffin. Already started trolling Jones and looks to be working on him! Although, last time he fought Griffin, he was submitted so we'll see how he goes this time :P.

Haha yeah the other guy seemed pretty rubbish, although had won 5 of 8 (I think) before that. Also before he finally tapped to the choke he had already tapped twice in the fight. Once from strikes and another a few seconds before tapping to the choke. Honestly if you are going to tap to strikes I don't think you should even be allowed in the cage/ring!

Also don't know where they got the nickname from, it seems every time he has a fight someone comes up with a new name for him. Personally I call him Bobcat ;)

Haha you say he is a big boy, yet he weighed in 2.5 kilos under the limit! Um to be honest not too sure because he never started off doing a certain discipline before doing mma. Well he did do boxing, but as you can see he doesn't spend much time standing haha
